and many of you thought the bear market was dead LOL
anyway the close is what matters that's a long way off now
and Heisenberg, you can buy those options at better prices now!
DVDS short still not showing an exit. Guys, shame on me but I
had basically caved into that peer pressure here when that DVDS
short was taking hit and closed it out with a stop even though the
system was open. Yes the system took more draw down on that short
than I would have liked but now what what's happening, that short
is working great!
Next time I'm not letting you guys sway me when all the whining
and complaining comes in. I'll make my own decisions and you make
yours. But this is also a good lesson about the systems, and
overall they generally work. I find that people tend to get
the most emotional right near a major turn, and that's what
happened here

Both ES Bear long systems are now showing a first entry, we will
only follow the more profitable one, Bear Long is also now showing
a trade on SPY, and the DVDS Short Matt manually closed last week
is currently showing an exit for a healthy profit.
James, is DVDS short a mid-level or high level (exhaustion)
short system? Was the bull exhaustion subsystem close to triggering
on this rally a couple of weeks ago?
Another winning trade on DVDS Short system is panning out. The
projected wave 5 scenario a week ago was at odds with this trade
being 100% winning. Now the system has been proven a better
trader.

It is so hard to resist one's own emotions, even with a
mechanical system. I can't imagine what it's like when you've got
the emotions of a bunch of subscribers pressuring you. But you do
an awesome job nevertheless.
a lot of that comes from people doing too large of a position
size - I always tell people, start very conservatively, small
position sizes, that way you can give wiggle room without being
emotional
also guys - pro tip, whenever you feel the most emotional and
can't stand it any longer, generally the market is near an
inflection turning point

I follow the systems to a tee. I don't do anything
discretionary on it at all and I've ended up winning over time.
Maybe it's luck but I somehow doubt it.
You are a star Patellee. It is not easy to see the draw-downs
and the DVDS system probably caused some sweaty palms. No luck
involved, great Profit Factors on all the systems. Questions for
you. 1. Do you do any other trading other than the SPY/ES systems?
2. Do you trade both options and ES-minis or macros. 3. Have you a
trading account larger than $100k. 4. How do you manage margins.
Are you very conservative or do you trade with a small margin? i
used to allow $15k on the ES minis but am now quite a bit more
conservative. Definitely do not want margin calls.

I closed it out too, for a small loss. Bad move, but not a
catastrophe. Your quote, "I find that people tend to get the most
emotional right near a major turn," man that's me sometimes! I'm
getting better with the SPY System in particular though - I've been
holding through the drawdowns consistently. Of course, it helped
that last year we had a shit-ton of winners.

Trigger price on Bear Long for ES is 4008.75 or below. At 4009 or above there is no trade.
