I assume that not too many people are in this current Short
trade because of the lack of comments. Hopefully more then
10% have it LOL
Hopefully that's not true, but from all the feedback here over
the last 2 months, it wouldn't surprise me.
Most people have trouble following a mechanical system because
emotion, when they get a bad trade, they lose confidence, then
don't do the next few trades, then they finally get in again, but
of course that one ends up being a losing trade, etc. Now of
course systems can fail or stop working, however too many people
made that judgement call too early.
Here's a relevant example: I know a guy who runs
a very successful hedge fund with automated mechanical systems,
however early on he also gave some of his clients the option to
lease his systems so that they had control. He had it setup
where each client had their own remote desktop where the systems
were placed, and the client could turn on and off the systems,
change position size etc.
Without fail, all of his clients who had control over the
systems whether to turn them on or off all vastly under performed
his systems because they constantly turned them off, turned them
on, varied position sizes, etc. Some clients actually lost
money even though the systems were up about 120% in a year, it
shows you how easily it is for the public to lose control of
following a system.
All his clients who chose not to have control and to just be in
his hedge fund where the systems were ran for them automatically,
all made a lot of money.
Therefore in the end, my friend took away the option of letting
some of his clients lease the systems because his clients having
control over them was always negative.
I'm in. Single entry system. Have traded all signals
faithfully so far and keeping good records on google docs.
Will continue to trade for a long period of time and review the
results then. I figure it can't be worse than the
guessing I've done on my own in the past.
Took the trade as I have every single trade that has been
issued, but I am following multi system. I also halved position
size because I felt that I had too large percentage of my capital
dedicated to the system before. I do not regret this, I hope the
system continues to perform.
I'm following the single-entry, and for this account
I'm 100% short. I've been 100% on every trade, and happy
to be in the positive now. Mind you, I was out of my mind not
too long ago.
System comments, etc

Matt, I am sure you figured out by now, the comments only come when it's a losing trade :) I think the majority (higher than 50%) are in this trade

Yup. This system is a no-brainer. Just follow the rules. Ka-ching.
