So is there an exit tomorrow morning?

Tom or Matt, did you send out an email notification after you realized your error?  I didn't receive one.  I was happily long, following the system, until I checked your site 5 minutes ago.  I'm out now.

I'm following the single-entry, and for this account I'm 100% short.  I've been 100% on every trade, and happy to be in the positive now.  Mind you, I was out of my mind not too long ago.

Then what did Matt mean by "startfox - under the new rules, the system would have bought at the close of 8/8 at 112.26."

I really appreciate all the feedback everyone. This is nota recommendation, but I'm now considering a partial exit on Monday, putting a stop in place for the remainder, and trying to come up with some kind of target. 

Anyone have any justification for exiting now?  A fraction or the whole she-bang.  $118  is looking really good to me after the past week.

I believe Matt uses profit curves to determine when to shut a system off.  I guess the falsifiability there is subject to the traders discretion in drawing trendlines.

I disagree with your premise.  The *drawdown* that we're suffering is not outside the range of the system's historical performance.  We haven't exited the trade yet so you can't compare our current drawdown to past losing trades.  Apples and oranges.

If it's getting really painful for you than you're probably over-leveraged.  Try scaling back in future trades.  Take some time to picture drawing down 15% on the next trade, in real $s, before you place the trade.  If your palms start to sweat than it's probably too much.

Matt, I was looking at a service a while back that hosts strategies on their servers, offer them for subscription on a forum, and run them for users off their servers.  Maybe you could leverage a third-party service like that for this system.

Does anyone know what the risk looks like for trading 10 contracts.  I know less than nothing about trading ES futures.

I hear you RM686.  It's hard enough to keep the emotion out of it.  When I see posts on the SPY page from experienced traders giving discretionary opinion, it's even harder not to react.  I'm thinking of MarketGuy's post calling for the "Mother of all Puts".  Yikes!

Are you asking because of the email/text?  It hasn't changed.  That was just the official notification going out.
