Yes (need to see that for a decent rally to unfold). A
break back below ES 889 would suggest that resistance held and
point to lower prices ahead for the short term.

ES broke down but only slightly and is now bouncing - watch
890-50-891.50 on ES which if cleared would again argue for the
rally continuing higher. ES bounced off the .618 support at
887.69 (.618 is measured from the move off today's lows to the
recent highs). Overall, very choppy so far after yesterday's
trend day.

ES is clearing short term resistance and now may test the
earlier resistance levels I posted 893.25-897. There is
additional resistance overhead as well - the move up is very choppy
which suggests it is corrective (not impulsive).

TDAmeritrade only does stocks...they don't do futures; so
StrategyDesk won't pull up the ES futures. How do you like
StrategyDesk otherwise? I've been using NinjaTrader for charts and
trades on TDA. When I tried StrategyDesk it seemed more difficult
to use than NT, perhaps because I don't know it as well as NT. The
other thing I noticed was the backtest results weren't quite as
good as NT's. I didn't try to isolate the problem.

Just an FYI,TD Ameritrade's rep told me they are learning new
software currently, and should be offering futures the next month or
2 in conjunction with their Think or Swim acquisition.

I just signed up with them, and didn't realize they've been
saying that for a while.Guess she may have been blowin smoke
up my azz:) I guess I don't really care,as I trade with
Infinity/Transact and they do a nice job.

renko SPX 5 min would have kept you in the long side of things. Renko is good for entries and stop loss placements

ES is the emini S&P futures. I don't think SD gets that data. Might be able to Google for it
