that is weird because I am down about 2% for all trades in
November, I get terrible slippage sometimes and other times none at
all, my system is set up correctly although I do not start trading
until 9:31am so sometimes I miss a trade that was triggered on a
big gap, Tom is your system set up to take the first trade at
9:30am?

Couldn't agree more Steve. Every veterans day I go down to the
local VFW and just say thank you for what they did for their
country, you'd be surprised how much these guys appreciate that,
some with tears in their eyes that a stranger would just come in to
say thanks for their service...also thinking of those murdered at
Fort Hood and especially thinking of their families left behind and
what they are going through.

was re-looking at my MRK position I took on the BO this morning,
volume is not very robust today, tightening up stops from my
previous post, would not be surprised to see MRK fall back below
break point early next week and consolidate further should the
indexes pullback and then make another attempt to BO
Posted by billrosen on 15th of Oct 2009 at 02:25 pm
those looking to catch a trade on KKD could enter on a break
above 4.75 with a tight stop, not sure if it will break above that
or break down, currently consolidating in a triangle on the 3
minute intraday chart, I suspect a strong move will happen in the
last hour

you missed the point, it is not about Rush, it is about abuse of
power, this country is making a very strong attempt at communism
with the fairness doctrine and this is a perfect example and
that should be frightening to ALL Americans,...I don't give a shit
about Rush personally. And no most people do not take the time find
out anything on their own and listen to biased media talking heads
resulting in a mis-informed and stupid America.
Rush Limbaugh is being banned from the NFL because he
is being labelled as a polarizing figure and a rascist
even though most people don't even know what he
said. He was being critical of the
media's
attentionof Donovan McNab not attacking McNab personally.
Dumb thing to say make no mistake. Personally I am not a big
fan of Rush. He is a an egomaniac
that discredits anyone from the left on any subject, even if
they might be correct, but not a rascist IMO. I think he is being
banned because he is a far right conservative and the prime target
of the "fairness doctrine" right out of the communist
playbook. Funny how Senator Robert Byrd, known as the "Soul of
the Senate" is allowed to continue to serve in the senate, not
only after serving in the Ku Klux Klan many years ago,
but after using the "N Word" twice in a 2001 interview with
Tony Snow...
...There was another inerview with Tim Russert which I could not
find where Byrd says the same thing and Russert asks if he really
meant to use that racial term and Byrd says yes I meant to say it
and want to be sure that people know I did not mis-speak and meant
to say it. Where was Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and DeMaurice
(major ties to Obama) demanding he not be allowed to continue to
serve in the senate like they are now blackballing Limbaugh? What
Rush said was stupid, but nothing close to what Byrd said multiple
times or what his past holds. I guess the "vetting process" of
being a part owner of an NFL team carries more ethical
weight for society in America than being a sitting senator....see
story below.
As recently as
NFL Commissioner Roger GoodellTuesday spoke out against
Rush Limbaughat the
NFLowners meetings in
Boston, in all probability putting to bed the conservative talk show
host's bid to become a part-owner of the
Rams.
Goodell said he is sensitive to complaints from African-American
players, stemming largely from controversial remarks Limbaugh made
in regard to
Donovan McNabbas a panelist on
ESPN's Sunday pregame show six years ago, as well as on his
nationally syndicated radio program. Opponents feel parts of his
commentary are racially charged, and Goodell seemed to agree.
"The comments that Rush made specifically about Donovan, I
disagree with very strongly," Goodell said at his afternoon press
conference. "They are polarizing comments that we don't think
reflect accurately on the NFL or our players. I obviously do not
believe that those comments are positive and they are divisive.
That's a negative thing for us. I disagree with those comments very
strongly and I have told the players that.
"I have said many times before that we are all held to a higher
standard here," the commissioner continued. "I think divisive
comments are not what the NFL is all about. I would not want to see
those kind of comments from people who are in a responsible
position within the NFL. No. Absolutely not."
Goodell's words carry more weight than those of others who are
trying to block Limbaugh, including the
Rev. Al Sharptonand
NFL Players Associationhead
DeMaurice Smith, who has political ties to the Democratic party and the
Obama administration, Limbaugh's prime target on his nationally syndicated talk
show.
NFL owners would have to approve the final sale. At yesterday's
meetings, only one, the Colts'
Jim Irsay, indicated which way he would vote - a definitive no.
"I, myself, couldn't even consider voting for him," said Irsay,
who feels Limbaugh "demonizes individuals with his commentary."
Said Irsay: "When there are comments that have been made that
are inappropriate, incendiary and insensitive ... our words do
damage, and it's something that we don't need."
Still, Irsay is but one vote and Limbaugh, an avid fan of the
NFL and the Steelers, is friendly with several owners, including
the
Chargers'
Alex Spanos, who has hosted Limbaugh in his stadium suite. Spanos,
Jetsowner
Woody Johnsonand Texans owner
Robert McNairare prominent donors to the Republican Party but have yet to
publicly support Limbaugh's bid.
McNair said yesterday that anyone who meets the "normal
criteria" is a candidate to own a team, adding the vetting process
for the image-conscious league is "very thorough."
Limbaugh can't comment on the status of his bid, but he noted on
his Monday show that commentator
Stephen A. Smith, who blasted him over the McNabb issue, sees nothing wrong
with Limbaugh owning a team.
"If he has the dollars, he should be allowed to do it, Oh,
you're going to pass up money because, oh, my God, I'm offended by
Rush Limbaugh being the owner? Who are you fooling? They're
liars."

the highest volume day in the past year for KKD was 1.8 million
shares, 30 minutes into the session 600,000 shares have traded, on
pace to blow away 1.8 million shares, there is a lot of power
behind this move, with not a lot of resistence overhead. I think
Krispy Kreme is a great product, with new mgt in place, this could
be one of those stocks that goes up thousands of precent over time,

Krispy Kreme soaring again today, up 18% since I posted the BO
at 3.65 yesterday, taking some profits again here, raising stops,
if volume is light on the pullback, will add more shares as lonjg
as it does not pullback below 3.93, below that level would indicate
a possible reversal to the BP
