Yes the systems have been frustrating lately especially to see a good proft fade away before the averages cross again. If the averages get off cycle from the market zig zags then you can lose on the exit trade and the new entry trade. It can be hard but I think you have to recognize you will get bumps but you have to be in the game to catch the big ones. Some say turn them on and off but if I was that good at knowing market direction I would not need a mechanical system.

You were right on the jinx the last 3 trades have been losers even off the plunge late yesterday if you held it till it crossed you lost. I wonder if anyone has come up with a profit taking system outside the 17%. A lot of nice profits fade away with the choppy markets.

System is having a nice day if one had the balls to carry it over short, wish I had. I am learning with the mechanicals just let them run, duh that's why they are called mechanical.

I think the big numbers published using 100k as the position helps push people into bigger positions. Prehaps you scale it back to 10,000 and solely focus on % gain loss not $.

It traded above 4.06 on 7 1 minute candles the first being 12:08. It closed at 4.08 on the 12:33 candle

It traded above 4.05 your BO price but has pulled back under. Would you just cover any long and move on to the next one?
