1. XLF KISS, would have had you out in February to avoid this
mess. That said now you have a Demark 9 in place, and look how wide
that MA Ribbon is with the BPT MA Deluxe, reversion to mean at any
time
2. KBE KISS Bank ETF, same deal, otherwise you have a Demark 13
here, and same width on the MA ribbon
3. GLD KISS went long on March 10th! Not bad entry at all and
since has been able to raise its STS smart stop 3 times.
4 GDX KISS went long on March 10th as well, has added two higher
low stops
remember you can always look these up form the STS tables
Well, they _did_ well since the signals had been issued. That
time has passed for those not in them. Will they continue to do
well from here or the run of luck is over?
Steve's approach is not to pick bottoms, and I side with him on
that.

These don't pick bottoms, they need a reversal and confirmation,
they're not reversion to mean they're trend following.
They're not perfect by any means, they're just intended to work
as a tool for managing long term investments across multiple
instruments without curve fitting.
James_Roe, thank you for answering. Could these charts be
released about 30 minutes before the market close, please? I would
like to avoid dealing with gaps.
Roy - these trend systems are meant to catch trending moves
lasting weeks to months, not a couple days.
while in the future we have some plans to be able to update the
KISS charts maybe a couple times a day, but it will require extra
cost - we have to get a new TS account, another computer, stuff
like that
but for now the KISS charts are updated shortly after the close,
which to me is fine, why? ETF's trade until 8 pm and some places
like IB now allow you to trade ETF's all night and on Sunday. And
if the average trade is lasting 1, 2, 3 months, seeing a signal
shortly after the close or entering it a day or so later doesn't
matter much. It's not like the reversion to mean systems that might
only be in the trade a few days or a week where you really don't
want to chase - some slippage here doesn't matter
also realize that it's a tool management system - while some of
the entries are great, I think it's a good tool to manage a
trending instrument that is already in an uptrend.

Great work Matt. just curious how would crude oil (such as
USO) have done recently with the KISS system since oil was in a
sideways range (no trend) for a while? Would there have been
whipsaw signals?
KISS charts: XLF, KBE Banks, GLD Gold, GDX - these did extremely well

Do these kiss charts update intraday or after close ?
