AMD - Chart Link - so know you know why
I've been liking AMD. I heard comments that INTC's quarterly
earnings report was awful, worst in years. AMD is a real
competitor and still only has like 5% or less of the server
business, they have about 18% of desktop market. The sever
business is what is so lucrative and if they were to eventually
capture 10 - 20% of the server market that would represent huge
earnings growth

I'm still long TSM, following your call a few weeks ago. Thank
you for that. How do you contrast AMD versus TSM? They both seemed
to benefit from bad news at Intel.
Matt - I always ignored this stock over theyears and thanks to
you , I accumulated a LOT. Sometimes you have to believe in a
thesis to get invested. That worked very wel for me with TSLA and
AMD. I was always a big TSLA fan but AMD was totally your
guidance.
TSLA: Listen, I love the entertainment of an exploding car at a
stoplight as much as the next guy. (Roast your marshmallows while
waiting for the tow truck to arrive). But someday somebody's going
to notice the air in this stock, maybe when the Gov't stops using
my tax-paying dollars to get people to buy the car? Reminds me of
While E Coyote running off that cliff. GREAT picks this week guys.

if someone wants a small project. Look up INTC's earning
report, see how much they make on the server market and what
percentage of that market they hold. Then knowing that we can
roughly estimate the future impact on AMD's earnings if they
capture say 5%, or 10% or 20% of that market share. I imagine
it would be 3 - 5 or even 10 times AMD's current profit now.

The competition is like Intel vs (AMD, QCOM, APPLE, ETC+TSM). If
AMD gains more market share, TSM is be benefited. One of the
largest problems for Intel right now is they are lagging behind TSM
on advanced chip manufacturing.

We can leave the investors to worry about that. Technical traders will make money when it goes up or down in these big moves.

TSM up $7 (10%) too.

TSM up $7 (10%) too. Why a foundry goes up on INTC bad news I don't know. I still have one call and happy.
