confusion? really with the SPY system? sarcasm.
remember I had chosen to keep the system long because the RSI
oversold and Trend sub systems are still long via those last two
videos I sent out.
yes whole thing has been a confusing mess which is why I will be
taking it offline to retool and simply it and won't bring it back
online until it's in a simple non-ambiguous format. I wanted
to remove the system entirely from the website and just focus on
our top notch analysis, newsletters, trade ideas. However the
overwhelming response was for me to keep the system but that it had
become too confusing and ambiguous with the sub systems and
combined system, not doing one and doing the other etc, which I
wholeheartedly agree with. I think it makes the most sense to
take it offline until it is retooled and greatly simplified so that
there is never any confusion again.
Remember I had kept the system long because the Trend and RSI
sub systems are still long, which is what I discussed in those last
2 videos. Which again was really the wrong thing to do, the
whole thing has been a mess. The combined system would be
short at the moment. However I will report what the current
open sub systems are doing i.e. when the Trend and RSI oversold
systems finally close out I will let you know. I may also be
sending out an email on this today or if not on the weekend. One
option is to close the trade now. If anyone was still in the
trade they could do that or just hold with a stop or close out when
the RSI and Trend systems finally exit, which I will report on
Hi Matt, I do not find it confusing at all; your work is
awesome on the systems! You are pretty clear to me.
I say do not take down he systems. Just work on your
improvements in the background and launch when you are ready.
But please don't take down the current system.
Thanks
thanks, I wrote a book for a sticky, take the time to read
over that. not something I hand planned to write yet and on a
Friday in the middle of the day but not bad to get out, lets you
know some ideas in my head working on
That sounds like a system I would be comfortable using. I
definitely agree that the short term pullback systems need to be
taken out. They are just too risky in the crazy computer
driven selloffs that occur more frequently. Can you tell us
how the e-mini system has been working in this environment?
Hi Matt, This is not confusing. You explained many times and it
was very clear. I would still prefer you send us notification for
the signal of each sub system. Thanks for your hard work as
always.
Matt, can u settup an email alert for the system than. I
don't find it confusing and use it as a guide in my investment
process. Don't take away the candy jar.

I've NEVER found it confusing. The only thing confusing is how
anyone can find it confusing! Matt you have the patience of Job as
you explain over and over again when it's sometimes obvious that
some people just don't read.
I agree!! I am confused how anyone can find it confusing.
I put in the time on BPT and learned how to use the systems
and made them my own. Members that are confused have not
taken the time or given it enough time to get familiar with the
systems.
another option here since I chose to bring all the sub systems
into the mix, which added to the confusion is this:
Two sub systems are long, RSI Oversold and Trend, while a new
sub system went short yesterday, QE SE system.
One simple example would be to assign a point value: +1
for each long system and -1 for each short sub system. Because one
system is now short, and two are still long, sell 1/2 the long, or
hedge the long.
again the new version of the system will be clear and concise,
but for now I'm offering options about what to do here and now
Matt- I appreciate all your and Steve's work over the
years. I have seen a few different versions of the system on
this site. I do use it as a guide and do not get confused.
One question, if you do take it down, how long do you expect
it to be removed from the site before a new version is brought
back? Days or weeks?

Would you consider setting up an email list for those of us that
don’t find the system confusing to give trade notifications while
you retool for the general community.
