I believe that Matt had said trend long was only ever 3 entries.  What I’m wondering is whether or not another subsystem like bear long or bear exhaust is looking to trigger.

I have SPY closing below its 8day SMA on Dec 30. ---321.08  close vs an ma of 321.32.  Prices/calculation from Tradestation.  Are you using a HLC MA or perhaps I'm off somehow?

Ive had problems with that before.  I was told that the stock has to be offered at your limit to get filled, not simply trade through.  That would have been illegal on any exchange trading floor I ever worked on but I guess this is what happens when your orders are sold to HFTs.

use the July. very few spy trades last long enough (or rather are in drawdown long enough)  to justify the added risk premium.

Hey Matt— did SPY close out today?  Systems tab says still long but I would have thought the momentum indicator for bear long would have turned on this. ( I apologize in advance if I missed what you said nor do I wish to ignite any complaining on the board. I know it’s under renovation. Yes/no works)
