There was a time when I believed that "lead dog had the best view" meaning that the person at the top had the most and best information to make an informed decision. For now I have suspended that belief.

Tradestation platform comment...like some of you I was reluctant to open a new account with Tradestation but decided to to it to gain access to Matts indicators. Currently with Interactive Brokers but also a veteran of Fidelity, Schwab, Options House, Ninja, and Thinkorswim I am not new to learning platforms for charts or trading.

So far (its been 6 weeks or so) I am finding the functionality to be excellent. The speed and accuracy of the charts is probably the first thing that is impressive. There seem to be endless capabilities for development and back testing (Matts area for sure) which I will never use. But the opportunities just within the stuff I do use and the charts is head and shoulders better then IB. Although I will wait until end of year to see what the tax docs look like I may end up going all the way with Tradestation but for now just having the ability to monitor the BPT Deluxe has been worth it to me. Plus the guy over there that Matt refers us to (Bruce) is very professional and has given great service.

The only thing that seems to be a major obstacle is that the charts to do not read drawings such as trendlines in different time frames. This is a big deal for me because I like to see a half dozen time frames before entering a trade and having to draw into each individual chart when I have literally hundreds that I am watching kind of sucks.

Charts in my Tradestation workspace that I downloaded from the website don't match yours so I think I'll just forget about trying to reproduce your charts. Sorry but I can't figure out what is different and I appreciate the way you follow the indicators in the community forum.

Chart not updating any Tradestation...any suggestions? I am just learning their platform and this one has me stumped. The left chart is the one stuck in the past.

Thanks Matt...although I did have them installed ok there were a couple of other useful tips in the videos. There is alot to learn in Tradestation and I can see potential there in the screeners, excellent charts, and advanced order platforms (advanced compared to what I've been using anyway). But the primary value to me is having the indicators, especially if we can all use them together here in the community.

Matt FYI...the Tradestation workspaces that I have now do not match what you are showing in the video. I'm probably doing something wrong but we will work on this when you are feeling better.
