Thanks Matt...although I did have them installed ok there were a
couple of other useful tips in the videos. There is alot to learn
in Tradestation and I can see potential there in the screeners,
excellent charts, and advanced order platforms (advanced compared
to what I've been using anyway). But the primary value to me is
having the indicators, especially if we can all use them together
here in the community.

I don't have TradeStation and I kinda feel that I am being left
out of all the cool new indicators that you are providing. Am I
interpreting this incorrectly ?

Hello, I sort of understand your frustration I, but I also think
this is the right approach. First off we do not have the
ability to provide these indicators for other platforms at this
time, therefore I am simply providing what I can at this time -
should I not provide the TS files since not everyone has it? I
don't think so. I also used to charge for theses indicators
and that would be a solution, but I decided to give them away for
free which is also a big benefit. Plus you have the ability to
open a TS account and get 20 percent off commissions as well as
reduced fees just by being a BPT member, so you can get them if you
really want to. call

Also did you listen to my weekend commodity report? it's not
like you are not getting benefit from these, I show them in the
newsletters, on the blog, use them and systems which you are
already emailed trade signals for such as the spy systems.
Also I am putting some of these indicators such as the BPT MA
Deluxe indicator and charts signal in the long term tools section,
which I discussed on my weekend report - so that you can see what
they are doing without having them yourself
Many folks are interested in the trending aspect of the BPT MA
Deluxe indicator, particularly at the daily time-frame.
Indeed, that's the topic of this particular forum-thread, "Help
installing the TS Indicators."
It would be simply unfair to both Matt and paying members (at
least that's my take, speaking here for myself, as a paying member
since 2010), for the indicators to be given away for free.
Yet I have been frustrated by the crazy hard hurdle of starting
with TradeStation, even at a 20% discount. I have spoken with TS
and it's just not practical under their current business model.
Since the daily indicators will be soon added to the long-term
tools section, there IS or will soon be a way that allows members
to enjoy Matt's innovations, even withOUT TradeStation. As Cramer
would scream,
Booya! Buy buy buy ...
The necessary approach to achieve this would be just checking
the BPT website after the close every trading day. That's certainly
NOT too much for a FREE indicator of this power, IMHO.
I'm also wishing for a better
alternative to TS or perhaps someday a better TradeStation
opportunity even. Perhaps a TS-lite for less active folks? I dunno.
But this is not the place for that discussion however.
