/kc and /gc should be the symbols. Coffee is trades at the ICE and I don’t think You can get quotes for this on TOS anymore (at least not for free). No more coffee, sugar, cocoa, cotton or OJ.

Walt - Why not just buy an In-the-money SPY put (say the August 350 P for example)?  It should free up a considerable amount of margin, there's minimal decay and it provides protection against a move to new all time highs.

It's a futures contract between two parties.  One has the obligation to deliver crude (10k barrels I believe) and the other has the obligation to accept delivery.  if you don't have anywhere to store it, you essentially pay someone else to take that obligation (accepting delivery) off your hands.  That's my understanding at least.
