Easy to find blame for your own errors. Imagine how the poeple
that had no charts feel since without charts and relying solely on
your input - they had no idea which direction the trade
triggered.
And to the balance of the BLOG. I am the person cspirit is
referring to. He has consistently posted on this blog things about
the mechanicals that are inaccurate and in my opinion have the
downside of confusing newbies, misleading newbies, or creating
erroneous trades for those without charts. I have on several
occassions mentioned to him that his posts are inaccurate
observations and I have on several occassions asked him to please
only post correctly when it comes to these posts. I did not call
him names, refer to him as a POS or take any other derogatory
position with him. I did say I would call him out publicly if he
could not post accurately when it comes to the systems. He replied
that he does not understand the systems - so is this the guy you
want to be following for systems trades anyway? Instead of
simply accepting the PLEAD for about the fifth time to stop the
inaccurate posts - he has instead decided to blame me for not
taking a trade he admits to not understanding. He may be a great
trader - and I did not question his trade ability - I only
requested for the upteenth time that he refrain from posting that
the "system will either trigger long or short" I expressed my
concern for the traders I felt may be affectedand misguided by
his information. Instead of considering his misunderstanding
of how the mechanicals work - he found a way to blame me for not
taking a trade.
I have to put my two cents in here and say that I don't
understand the value of posting these system triggers anyway -- the
whole thing seems to me more a DIS-service to new people than a
service. It gives the impression that people can successfully
trade these systems haphazardly, taking some signals and not taking
others etc etc etc., or by taking signals late after someone posts
them on the blog. But that's basically useless. For
these posting to be of service, they would have to consistently
post every trade signal day in and day out, and the people reading
them would have to watch the blog all day every day to see them
all. It makes no sense. Anyone who wants to trade these
systems needs to AT LEAST have their own charts running that show
them when the signals occur. Otherwise they are just not
serious and it won't work anyway. Is that harsh? It's
true. So what's the point of posting on a regular basis when
you happen to see a signal occuring. I don't get
it.
I'm not talking about like, sometimes matt will post that a
signal is occuring, or Bill Rosen will -- these are more in the
vein of commentary on the market action, not to give other people
the heads up to trade................
I agree that if folks are going to trade the systems, they have
to have their automation taken care of. I think the point of
anyone posting an upcoming signal would be so that new folks
that have just gotten set up, can compare if their systems are also
going to trigger. I think also some folks MAY be using the
mechanical systems in order to confirm their own thoughts about
taking a trade based on some other basis. Somehow knowing the
mechanical went long or short gives them confidence - MAYBE? My
concern is that if anyone is going to post signals, they need to
post accurate signals. Nobody is helped if we post wrong signals.
Remember a few months back when everyone had signals triggering at
different times and different prices - it was a MESS. Seems that is
finally worked out except for an occassional rogue posting as I
have been known to do LOL! Personally I think it can be quite
helpful to see someone post a trigger. With the troubles I have had
with TS - it certainly can confirm that my charts are correct! LOL!
Hope you are well...
ok -- I stand corrected about the value of posting the system
signals. Let people post away!!! I do agree its
confusing to say that the system could trigger either long or
short, since that's impossible.................

I dont agree. When i first joined the site it was a great help
to be given a heads up.That does not mean i did not have my own
charts nor that i relied only on others. I believe it is a
disservice to the membership to discourage anyone from posting
comments that could be helpfull. We are responsible for our trades
and are free to accept or reject any help given.Keep on posting
signals for the systems that are not limited to paying members.
Billrosen- yes,
the SRS systems ended up actually being a big winner today!!
I hope some of you caught them whether it was the 15 min system or
the newer 1 and 3 min systems, either way a nice day for the SRS
