I think Matt and Steve both have some family medical issues to
deal with. I don't have KISS charts myself and these aren't as
good, but I'll you my thoughts on XBI longer term (Weekly chart).
XBI recently triggered long on my system. BUT, it's below the
50 and the 200. If I were entering here, I would put a stop around
$78 (the stop generated is too far away for my trading plan). I'm
not good with Elliot Wave stuff, but I can make the case for 5
waves completed from inception (2007 ish) up to 2021. Topped out in
2021 and now it looks like maybe it's completing a big ABC
correction. That said, I can also see 5 waves down from 2021 top if
I squint and hold my head sideways. Probably best to wait
until it's above the 50...even better if it's above the 200...but
we all trade differently.
DigiNomad here's the KISS for XBI. It went long in early
July and has been able to raise the DVT stop 7 times, this trade is
really good. The trade in early Feb was a wash, while the one in
April would have been a minor loser.
the really hard thing about trend systems is trying to avoid the
noise and not get chopped up to death. It's easy when things trend
and any simplistic system can catch those. Where most trend systems
fail is the chop. The KISS stuff gets some chop in it, but it
overall handles it very well - that's what I designed it for and
why it was so difficult.
Thanks Matt...is there any way you can show KISS system for
atleast some ETF like XLE XLF XBI for swing trades and update the
DVT``s ? I know you are not that busy anyway lol
I have to pick a few only because it's a choir manually updating
every day. AAPL should be one, then two other things like another
stock like MSFT or ETF

Matt under the kiss section of the website could you update us
with the SPY 60min, 2 hr, 4hr, daily and weekly? And maybe a
few trending sectors? That was great when you use to have the
excel spreadsheet.
