Hi Matt, I'm a newbie - or rather a returning oldie after quite a few years away. I'm just having a nibble before piling back in. If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions about the SPY system:

-You have TS stats for the system going back to 1995 but also have a 'LIVE' stats page that goes back only to June last year. Am I correct in thinking you are using the system mechanically in the main but making the odd manual intervention for these LIVE trades, such as putting in stops or taking off half after a nice profit?

-For the SPY system, would it be possible for you to provide the TS year-by-year summary stats back to 1995? Basically, were there any years where the profit was marginal (e.g. perhaps in a sideways chop type of year)?

    Many thanks.

    There is a link there

There is a link there to past trades, I show back to last June because that's all I can fit on a single screen capture on my monitor. Also I made changes to some of the systems parameters in April of last year.

Yes I institute some manual discretion on the systems now like you see on the Trend/pullback system

as far as other stats - there's a bunch there already but showing year by year in individual trades for those years, that's a ton of work that I just have the time for right now, it's a lot of busy work and screen captures.  I currently have a bunch of admin things I'm working on and other projects.

    Anyone use TS on Mac

Anyone use TS on Mac OS? Tried previously via dual OS config but didnt like. I use TOS mainly - works well on Mac. Better to buy a separate Windows computer?

    I switched from a MacBook

I switched from a MacBook to a Dell XPS 15 a couple of years ago when I started using TS. Have accounts at TS, TOS, IB. Switching back to MacBook Pro in the fall when the M1x/M2 comes out. Will run Parellels. Tradestation is a very unstable program to begin with. It crashes/freezes A LOT. Hoping to gain some stability by going back to Mac. Had same logic- better to buy a windows computer. My conclusion after doing so is that it’s not.

(Waiting for new chip because M1 doesn’t run multiple monitors natively)

    I'll add that those infinity

I'll add that those infinity screens on the Dell's are nice, almost borderless vs the Mac's with the bezels. That said, Dell a lot of bugs and problems quality control issues.

M1 is a great chip on Mac but yes still not there for doing what you want - maybe M2 or M1X or something

Yeah TS has issues, though I rarely crashes for me anymore, but it gets bogged down at times when market is moving too fast and you have too many workspaces open.

I have a cool day trade setup for stocks - best to keep minimal workspaces open so that it's fast when trading that. I'll show that off sometime.
