So you guys now see why I developed the breakout trades earlier
this year?
here's an image showing the breakout trade on both the ES and
SPY systems. Both systems are still long. SPY is on the
left, ES is on the right. The ES system scaled out of a
contract but is still long, trade is up just over $8K on 3
contracts.
Funny a few of you commented here on the blog when this trade
was posted how the market was overbought and you wouldn't take
it. There's always an excuse, guys bitch about the reversion
to mean trades because you are buying weakness and it doesn't feel
good and tell me Matt can't you give us a breakout strategy because
it would be easier to follow. Then I do that and folks say, I can't
buy here it's overbought LOL, point is someone always has an
excuse. The point of a breakout system is it's buying a breakout
LOL.
anyway on a side note the breakout trade was actually was one of
the harder systems to make, much harder than most reversion to mean
systems. The ADX and AROON indicators were a big help, along
along with price action etc.
I take all your ES, AAPL, and now the Breakout
trades. Just fricken awesome. Up over 60% for the
year......incredible Matt. Thanks again for all the good
work.
