night.
The worst-performing sectors were industrials, materials, and
utilities. CSX (CSX) weighed on the industrial sector after
receiving a downgrade from analysts at Morgan Stanley.
In the S&P 500, eight of the 11 sectors finished lower.
The leading sectors were

Technology +0.07%.
The laggards were
Materials -0.93%,
Materials -0.73%, and
Utilities -0.50%.
Oil +2.99% rose again on optimism that a
vaccine will spur a return to "normal" economic activity.

stimulus measures.
