Guys regarding the SPY system

I realize some of you want it ultra simplistic, no decision making and most of the time it's gonna be straight forward.  And if you want that, you can stick with the combined system which is long.  Or one could trade the individual sub systems individually, two of them were long last week (QE LE closed out for a nice trade, while RSI 40 is still long).  Today one of the short sub systems went short, the 60 Stochastic short.  So you could play the individual systems, which mean two or more could overlap at times.  This is not complicated to understand and it's simple math.  disciple33 made the comment earlier "isn't this a lot of subjectiveness' no not really, you can play the individual systems or the main collective system.

Guys - listen, if I didn't care, I would just give you the main system trade, but I try to give you as much information as I can to make your own decisions.  BPT is an advanced TA website, it's not dumbed down for the masses or marketing purposes.

    it's funny, one of you

it's funny, one of you asked when the SPY Pro sub system for the Stochastic 60 Short was going to take a second entry, it missed doing so yesterday by only 8 cents

anyway 15 point bounce off the lows so far

    Still staying short over here.

Still staying short over here. despite bounce the indexes look like they are under distribution. Fact that the market is not higher with Hillary, Oil and Fed can't push us to new highs. Likely not gonna happen near term. Especially going into October.

" Today, the official figure for non-performing bank loans in the eurozone is 1 trillion euros, though we suspect that the actual figure is considerably higher." - Christopher Whalen

Would not be complacent on the DB rumors.

    Matt -- Thanks for all

Matt -- Thanks for all the details including the drawdown stats and the win rate on the trade type which you posted right from the beginning. More information is better and we can do with it as we will. We're all adults out here. People can choose for themselves if they wan't to play the subsystems or if they simply want to play just the overall system -- as far as I'm concerned the more information the better. Good work!

    Please don't dumb it down

Please don't dumb it down for us! It would probably be less work for you and I think you're overworked already. If you just let us know which subsystem triggers when, and we can take it from there. And don't  be discouraged by a few whiners. I'm sure there are lots of shy silent members who also appreciate what BreakPoint Trades is and does!

I've often thought that it would be helpful for you and Steve to weigh in on the mechanical systems' trades as they're given, since often there is evidence from other TA that would suggest waiting for another pullback for a long trade, for instance. I believe that happened recently on the trade that had a second, lower entry. I know that is normally considered 2nd guessing a mechanical system, but if your own TA is solid it should help bias the odds toward the better trades.

Thanks - that answers my question. I want to mirror the main or "combined" system most of the time but use the subsystems as additional info which may influence an early exit from the combined system. So, the main system is currently long SSO at 40%, however the short entered by a subsystem today might influence me to exit the main system early. Thanks.
