I'm not even supposed to be on the site today but I have
something I have to share with everyone, and no, I'm not looking
for sympathy just need to make a point.
I will bury my only child tomorrow, still just a young man. For
God's sake traders, money is important but kids and family are
everything. No matter what their passion is, blowing a horn,
restoring and old junker, please support them with all your heart,
you never know how much time you have with them. I had no notice
that my son was to be taken from me so soon, if only I had spent
more time with him than on this damned computer, if only I could go
back. I am so totally out of line by posting this but I have to
tell someone what I have lost and why I am dying inside.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your message brings tears to
my eyes. Thank you for having the courage to post - it is a
good reminder to us all about life and what is truly
important. God speed.
on the flipside I take care of my 2 aging parents- they give me
grief because they are so stubborn, and you've reminded me not to
sweat the small stuff with them; I'm sorry for your loss
must turn the world upside down. I'm very sorry for your
great loss. Please go easy on yourself. Everybody's grief is
different, but for me this helped: postpone any decision you don't
have to make, until you can breathe.
You are in no way out of line, that is what a "community" is
for, even BPT. Time will not cure, but it will help. Please accept
my hope that you will find peace an joy again for your life.
Having my Dad pass away a month ago,my thoughts and prayers go
out to you and your family.
This chapter spoke volumes to me of what time really is:
Ecclesiastes 3
Everything Has Its Time
1 To everything
there is a season,
A time for every purpose
under heaven:
2 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck
what is planted;
3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break
down,
And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep
silence,
And a time to speak;
8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
maggi3322 -- so sorry for your loss. It must feel so bad,
I can only imagine, I'm sure. But also, thank you so much for
posting, and point well taken!!! I send you my best
thoughts.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that doesn't help easy
your pain, but I'm so sad to hear this! You are right of course,
trading and making money is secondary. My wife and I are
expecting our first baby in May, I can't imagine how hard it is to
lose a child. I looked at the URL you provided, your son
looked like a nice, talented and smart young man! such a
shame!
take care of yourself and our thoughts are with you and your
family!

We all need to be reminded. It's so easy to forget what's really important.
So sorry for your loss and your unfathomable
pain.
Thanks for the reminder.
