I am using Trade Station and I just enter a buy (or sell)
at market on close order a few minutes before 4:pm EST.
My order went through today as the clock struck 4 and my
price was 130.40.
As an aside, I'm never sure if that is the "official closing
price" since the TS price is 130.43 on my 15 min chart and 130.42
on my daily chart. On stockcharts.com it's 130.42 and on
freestockcharts it's 130.43. In any case my 130.40 is better
so I'm happy.
I have used the market on close order since starting this system
and have been happy with the results so far.

Having a good feeling that SPY was going to be at or below the
trigger price, and we would buy at the close, I just used the "buy
on close" function on my TradeStation and got the exact closing
price. Seemed quite easy. I wonder if it works that
easily all the time.

is anyone else having a problem with the SPY blog not updating?
It seems to auto-update ok on the community blog but not here
without refreshing the page.

Using Tradestation, has anyone had any problem using the CLO
selection under the duration in the matrix to place an order and
get the actual closing price? According to them (TS) I will
get the closing print.
The community is delayed by three days for non registered users.
