Nice charts on gold in today's newsletter. Noticed the 10
MA beginning to crossover the 20 MA for a long term bullish signal
on gold. Looked at these MAs on the major indexes
and noticed they have all crossed over to the downside.
62 points the ES is down. wow! Even more off it's earlier
highs. Cannot image what will happen to the European markets if
they vote out. FTSE futures down almost 5.5%.
Jobless claims for the latest week came in slightly better than
expected again. While economists were forecasting a slight
increase in claims to 270K from 268K, the actual level declined to
267K. This is now the 65th straight week that claims have
been below 300K. That’s the longest streak since 1973.
In case you missed it, we are in the process of releasing a new
version of ChartNotes that uses HTML5 instead of Adobe Flash. As of
now, the new HTML5 version is the default version of ChartNotes.
The Flash version is still available for now, but that will change
soon. The people at Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox (and
elsewhere) are
eliminating their support for Flashsoon which
means that, even if we wanted to, we are unable to continue
supporting a Flash-based verion for much longer.
The community is delayed by three days for non registered users.

Also took a small position in TZA after hours. In hindsight UVXY would have been the better choice. This is worse than I could have ever imagined.
