Sometimes the option STRIKES will be adjusted after a divd has
been declared. I've had it happen on some of my trades. so a 135
strike will become a 135-5=130 when they're finished.
I didn't assume there was a trade, I was asking for an opinion
about the possibility of the system exiting today base on his
earlier comment about a move lower on that day. Just trying to plan
for some of these exits...some brokers wont let you trade after
hours. An Update after a severe draw down isn't unreasonable to
expect.
Since I don't see any new post on this topic, I'm assuming the
same rules apply to todays current 1.5% drop, that an exit will
probably be likely at the close? Please give some guidance?
This seems to be in response to Corzine's Euro currency bets and
reactions based on it. Seems MF GLobal has filed for bankruptcy,
and Interactive Brokers has a bid in for this company on the block.
They clear trades for many firms.
CME is telling floor traders not to make any trades until this
is cleared. They are being liquidated right now.
Once this is finished the dollar is expected to rise.
Based on my little indicator, looking back over the last few
years, we could see (from this level) from 1 to 3 more days of this
upward move before a turn. I'd like it to be just 1 or less.

I agree, I have both, and I'll be moving my Schwab to IB mostly because of the option execution issues.
