Steve, what's a potential 1-2 down? haven't heard of this 'wave' structure ?
klatuu - a potential nested 1-2 i-ii is where you get a subdivision in wave 3 which occurs when there is no overlap. Somewhat complicated to explain here in a short period of time but that's the quick answer.

what does the inverse H&S measure to?
So, would this mean the wave 3 is 'potentially' larger than in the chart, ie: more downside is possible?
