It worked fine on my XP system, you might try running it in
'compatibility mode'. Right click on the icon, choose properties,
then Compatibility Tab. You may need to experiment, but try the
most basic first. You'll need your own data to run it (Yahoo CSV
files or export them from TC2007, my favorite.). It's a Visual
basic program, not complex wrt programming so should work without
too much effort.
There are many programs which find chart patterns. He even gives
one away free. Patternz from his website. You can find many
websites which offer this too.
The real culprit, Just like the day SocGen was under pressure
from Jerome Kerviel's rogue trades in the billions causing panic in
the US in 2008. The Fed stepped in there as well.
Some large brokers in Europe were testing their systems this
weekend for a potential return to the Drachma. This was publicized
on Bloomberg. I would assume they'd also test the Deutsch Mark. Get
your Euro souvenirs here. Mounted and framed.
