Matt, what wave is reflected in your 30 min ES futures chart, 2 or 4 or B?

Market crushed and yet VIX finished slightly in the red

Matt just for educational purposes can you let us know what it would mean if we do get a higher low on SPX (based on the symmetry move earlier today) and would that mean that we'd have a truncated 5th wave? I'm certainly not one to get bogged down in elliot wave but I'm just trying to learn what it would mean if that happens.

Kobie regarding the possible wave 5 down, I was thinking the same thing, but when I look at the shorter time frame charts on the SPX it almost looks like a rounded bottom and even a cup and handle but what do I know! Curious what Steve's going to say.

Steve, just so I'm clear, based on your 10 minute chart mapping, it looks like you're expecting another move down probably tomorrow morning?

I guess the market didn't care if the NYMO and the NAMO closed below their lower Bollinger bands on Friday!

Arun, looks like they gave it the old college try this afternoon, but it was faded a bit. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Matt it would be great to see the SPX sell down to the lower trend line on your 10 minute SPX chart to get an even better 2nd entry assuming the bear long triggers

Looking forward to the newsletter tonight. Have to wonder if Apple and Amazon beats are priming the market for a gap and and go... or a gap and crap given the SPX daily is about ready to hit its 38% retracement, not to mention EdZ's day chart of the Qs that shows the Qs bumping up against resistance which undoubtedly they'll take out with a gap up tomorrow. Throw in the turn date that Steve mentioned and should be interesting!

Matt wasn't kidding when he said that those who took the current system shorts would take some heat!

Matt if it is an abc move on your 15 minute chart, I assume you would anticipate a slight pullback to the 3930 area and not much deeper than that?

Trend day, 5 min SPX chart MACD recycle to 0 line, slow stochastic staying above 80, one more pop last hour?
