I'll be doing the update later tonight, but I need to try and
keep it simple; I still don't feel that good and really nothing
changed today. The market continues to push higher and
divergences form but divergences have been forming on the whole up
move and have been ignored.
However we are in the 5th wave move up now and 5th waves are
ending moves or the final move of wave A of C, so don't get
complacent. Well-defined uptrend lines can be drawn on all
the index charts, and until those are decisively broken, continue
playing the short term trend, which his up!
For the Dow, a decisive break of the uptrend line would be a
warning sign, and then a break of the higher low at 9133 would
confirm the end to the up move or wave A up.
For Gold stocks, as I stated earlier, the GDX 15 min chart
appears to be in a 4th wave consolidation, therefore I would not be
surprised to see another move up in wave 5.
For Watch List trade ideas, continue playing the ones that are
taking the best volume. Volume is the key! Read my
former writeup on average volume as a guide for picking the best
breakouts (
click here for average volume). And when you get a first good move above the
breakpoint, quickly move your stops up at least to your entry price
to ensure that you can't take a loss, and take 1/2 off soon after
to lock in some profits.
here's the Dow 30 min chart and GDX 15 min chart. I'll
post some charts later tonight
thanks, yeah I agree. The problem is that Steve and I are
perfectionists and everytime we sit down and look at stuff; we do
more work than we plan. I always plan to do shorter updates,
but somehow I can't seem to do it; it's like a drug addiction or
something lolol
