Stockchart links for non members of Stockcharts

Posted by matt on 30th of Sep 2009 at 12:40 pm

4iron - here you go, try the URL's for non-Stockchart member

GDX 60 min chart - for non Stockchart members , click the link and a page will show up that says, please visit stockcharts.com, however ignore that message, then click on the URL and hit refresh and the chart will show up.

GDX 15 min chart for non stockchart members - click the link and a page will show up that says, please visit stockcharts.com, however ignore that message, then click on the URL and hit refresh and the chart will show up.

    Thanks Matt

Great heads up!  Thanks vm.   (had to plug 15 instead of 60 in the URL for 15 min as was getting 60 min on each link.   Can you update the 15 min link for others please?)

Matt, not sure but I just clicked on these charts - I never have before because I don't subscribe. I was able to see them all. They are dated today but for example, the SPX 1 2 3 had no new annotations. I am wondering if I am seeing today's charts or what am I seeing. Anyone with comments??

    I added quite a few

Posted by matt on 1st of Sep 2009 at 10:50 am

I added quite a few links to the dynamic links sticky post

However realize that this weekend I'm going to start building my Market Lab section, where I will have all the dymamic links for the indexes, sectors, indicators etc all in one section, like I used to have on the old site; the market lab section is also a good place to start an education section

    THANK YOU!!

    Weekly gold related charts

Posted by winter39 on 8th of Sep 2009 at 01:20 pm

    Matt,

Your charts on gold stocks were just terrific.

What would a good moving average be on the ratio section  for Weekly charts,

e.g. ANO:GLD(for the daily , you use 20 as the mov. average)

Would you use a 20 mov. av. for the Weekly also.

    Thank you so much.

    I use the 20 EMA

Posted by matt on 8th of Sep 2009 at 02:15 pm

I use the 20 EMA for the daily, 60 min, 15 min ratios.  I'm not sure on the weekly?  maybe the same thing, but really the trendline is most important.  I"ll have to look at it.

    Great charts Matt, Thank you!

      you can't see it

you can't see it as easily here because so much time has elapsed.  But it seemed to me on the hourly charts in early July (from July 1 to July 2) there was a gap down and then later (14th to 15th) a gap up to form a possible island bottom.  You can't see it on the daily charts- for some reason the candle shows a wick on the first gap I mentioned.  But you can check the hourly charts.  IF it is a island bottom - those are supposed to be pretty powerful moves, but if I am not mistaken they are retested.  So could it come back to test the loww of July 15th and then start going back up for a couple more months?

Posted by pdani on 5th of Aug 2009 at 11:29 am

nice to see active new improvements here and the chance to participate in the design by making useful suggestions (like mine below... Wink)

    - items showing in expanded threads should be in reverse date/time sequence, i.e. latest one first.

    - 50 posts per page is too many - how about something in between 20 - 50 or let us choose our own?

    - expanding the thread on the same page is the way to go rather than going to a new page.
