Haha, probably too much of an old school energy play to benefit
that much from AI, Digi. I believe they are cutting 650 jobs this
year, and took some writedowns (including a “goodwill” of
some sort) last year that make recent results look like a miracle.
The 7.5% div is supposedly guaranteed to grow for next few
years, which might be attracting investors as fed rate cuts
approach. Motley Fool has been talking up their renewable plays as
a hidden growth engine (or liability, depending on your
take).
