Am wondering as well, Glad. There is some thinking that they will back off the auto industry punishment once any and all new investment is assured to be stateside. But that assumes the tariffs are more strategic than ideological.

Similar time crunch here, but I've had luck searching "systems " when I have a chance. (until the perfect solution happens) Systems button sounds interesting !

Great point, tnx!   And

Great point, tnx!   And also one way casinos spot card counters—they increase the size of their bets based on the cards left in the deck, lol.

Wow. Sorry to hear about the siding and window! Good call on the composite shingles, so I hope the fiber siding works out as well. Shutters are an interesting traditional protection—may make a comeback at this rate.

Got lucky when my car got caught  in Kananaskis in 2015. Autobody guy estimated 10,000 tiny dents. Gave it a pebble finish if you looked close. Nothing serious, so I bought it back from insurance for $700 and drove it until last spring, lol.

Ouch—were those big enough to shred siding?   Saw pics of a few windshields smashed in from areas in the northeast. I only got hit with a few ice pellets as I was covering the truck, so dodged the bullets this time.

Yeah, no argument re. accurate inflation data...more a comment on ATH hype, which maybe is actually bullish as people realize we’re only reclaiming December 2021 (suggests headroom for more upside?), or bearish if the hype gets sold into. My skeptical side wonders if we need a new acronym? All Time Hype…All Time Hyperbole…All Time Hypocrisy? (that last one maybe captures your data skepticism, lol?)

ATHs inflation adjusted. Getting more

Posted by mschwand on 20th of May 2024 at 04:26 pm

ATHs inflation adjusted. Getting more attention in the press recently, maybe since we're now just flirting with them. This is from Forbes, and I believe Mike Wilson was recently discussing.

Same here. My personal conspiracy theory is that BB failed to recognize the potential of phone entertainment b/c of the insane data rates charged by Canuck com monopolies at that time (and arguably still)— maybe the movie will tell me different!

Yep, handset production died about then, but BB may have pivoted successfully to medical/auto cloud encryption services, now in about 200M cars according to the press. The encryption tech was well respected, so has spent the last decade in meme-type speculation about what would come of it.

Tfp! Vanadium maybe similar? LGO clawing back above it’s 50.

CL.CA (cresco labs) nice pop on that news. (I sold the pop, but if it holds that's an interesting long term chart...maybe will have to check some fundamentals, haha)

PYPL struggling to break out

PYPL struggling to break out of downtrend line after earnings beat.

Could be. Menthor q had a post this morning about algos being under positioned.

Maybe the system is sensing

Maybe the system is sensing that Monday (4/15) will be the better entry?  Ã°Å¸Ëœâ€° (I almost took the trade before close, but decided to wait and see 🤷)

Thanks, Steve—bingo indeed, lol!

BW 65min coil.  Interesting consolidation

BW 65min coil.  Interesting consolidation after some wild swings.

Nice pop this am. Didn’t quite make it to the pattern target/daily trendline.

CPG Hadn’t been watching this

CPG Hadn’t been watching this one and missed some good entry points. Can dream of a pullback/retest for now I guess.

CL.CA  Maybe getting high(er). Don’t

Posted by mschwand on 3rd of Apr 2024 at 11:01 pm

CL.CA  Maybe getting high(er). Don’t know if many here would trade this exchange, but looks like it could break upward soon for a run to that $3.40ish trendline. Just got upgraded to a Zack’s “strong buy”, which seems odd for a weed stock, lol. On the weekly, there appears a lot of bagholders from 2021, or should I say baggie holders? (groan)

Yep. Scott Galloway is hilarious when criticizing himself for being “addicted to the affirmation of strangers,” and pretty accurate about the seduction of the whole deal.
