VIX and SPY up today makes sense. I have a feeling the vol
crush tomorrow will be intense if the print comes in in line or
better than expected (lower). If it's hot, the vol crush will be
more likely on Wednesday after the hawkish skip (which seems kind
of expected at this point, unlike a couple of weeks ago before the
EU, Canada and Aussies made their moves).
The Fed should not let stockmarket dictate their policy. I would
raise again and keep pedal to metal until we get to 2% . Dancing
around and all this BS will just extend resolution. But nothing
about stk mkt is logical.
but again that's why I keep saying the KISS systems are nice -
because if the insanity continues and continues with ever higher
prices -the systems will capture that, and when one day the rug is
pulled and the music stops, you have a chair to sit in, (STS stops)
to protect you. The KISS systems will go with the flow for as long
as it lasts
KISS is used best when you think the market could enter a period
of trend for a while - just like the Oct lows we thought were a
decent trade bottom for many months. But even on things like the
indexes, they will have chop trades but will over time catch good
moves. Especially anything that is trending strongly. Last year we
identified energy as a hot sector in early January and the KISS
systems did amazing on those. Stocks or indexes that are trending
should do well.

I love the idea of using the KISS system. My trouble has always been trying to determine an entry criteria that I have good stats utilizing the STS.
