ah that annoying daily ES bar bug from Tradestation: You know
yesterday on my side the DVDS did not short a short entry, but
today when I rebooted it, it shows up that it entered yesterday!
Actually was good luck this time that it was not showing yesterday
as we avoid that draw down. I now have to decide if we take it now
at better prices or just monitor it - maybe take a 2nd entry if
that occurs
this is a real problem with daily ES bars - TS and the exchange
change the closing prices and I think show false prices with where
ES actually traded. I've see the difference be 5 and 10
points where I'm watching ES on a 1 min chart near the 5 pm close
and a daily bar and I've seen them 10 points different!
One thing I need to do is convert these daily ES systems over to
a 1440 min bar - that should eliminate that Bogus daily bar
crap

the stops are still pretty wide but for SPY the stop is 398.9 and for MES is 4085 - should jump up higher today after the close

new stop for MES is 4085 - still wide - should prices go up more eventually that will tighten up above entry
and on SPY it's 399
again there's a positive stop loss that will eventually kick in once the trade is more profitable

- SPY stop was 399 yesterday, it's now moved up to 400.1, so moved up just over a buck
- MES stop yesterday was 4085, moved up to 4095 today
