here's a paragraph from John Ehlers who wrote various research papers on various trading indicators. - One of which our Cycle indicator is based off!

As you know we use various indicators with set lengths such as 14 or 5 for the RSI, a 10/14 for the Stochastic, a 14 for the ATR etc.

In one of his papers he shows how to use this Fouier Transform to automatically or dynamically adjust the lengths of your indicators based on recent price movement and volatility - so for example you have your RSI set to a 14 length, this may have it at 14 for a while, then other times adjust it to 10 or 8 etc depending on recent price movement and volatility. Even for our KISS trend systems, could be tried to dynamically adjust some of the settings.

again I don't know how well this will work in real time, it may be crap or it may be great - it's something we'll try next week to see how it looks

Matt, it words well, been using a tool for it for well over a decade. When I had E signal it worked amazing in real time. I have EOD data now for daily charts using a tool from the Foundation for the Study of cycles. Glad to talk about it if you like
