regarding the systems, even though the SPY ones didn't close out
yesterday I probably should have just closed out the options to be
safe. Was a hectic day end of day yesterday and just didn't think
about it.
also in the future I may remove the options and simply give you
guys guidelines, which I already have listed. It's the part that is
the most pain in the butt and takes the most time, looking through
option chains in IB and trying to do all the other stuff. Plus, if
I'm gone or busy and James is tasked to send the alerts - he
doesn't really have the tools and knowhow to send the option
trades. It's cleaner with ETF and futures so I am considering
removing the alert side to that portion. Again - those who
wish to do can follow the same formula I have been, which is
options that are roughly 2 months out 1st entry targets 0.6 - 0.65
delta, 2nd entry 0.6 delta, 3rd entry 0.5 or less delta
I hear you on the options trades; it does make it much more
cumbersome and complicated. To me that excitement a quick big
profit and the advantage of cash leverage can be gained by the
futures trades. Couldn't a trader opt to double or triple the
futures purchase and gain the same?
I'm looking forward to when the SPY/ES systems have their own
section on this blog so as not to have to sift through or put in
search parameters to quickly see the signals.

I follow the systems to a "tee". I don't let emotions or
discretion get in the way. You lose some but you win on most.
It's a system for a reason and it's right ~9/10 times and
I'll take those odds all day every day. I'm still holding my
options and once SPY exits I'll exit those.
