I looked back through the posts and the first entry ES was
posted by James Roe on Friday Oct 21st at 5:03 pm indicating a
price of 3772; which makes sense by my chart. First entry should
therefore not be 3764 (which was on the table before) or 3805 which
is on there now.
It should say Oct 21st, 1 MES contract short @ 3772 for
first entry.

At the end of the day the futures market gets adjusted after the
close. It is called “Mark to Market”. You are correct coz101, On
Friday the last trade price was 3772, which is the price I went
short. But the adjusted mark to market price was 3764. I use the
TOS trading platform and on my account statement page it
shows
10/21/22 17:00:00 ADJ --
/MESZ22:XCME mark to market at 3764.00 official settlement
price
Thanks, I don't understand the "mark to market" concept or
reality related to futures trading. I would be upset if I thought I
got the listed trade price but was filled much lower. (on a
short position).
yes it's 3764 was correct on there all weekend, when I update
spreadsheet and copy cells over it's rather easy to recopy
something. Anyway that's fixed and adjusted for
Matt, I posted this below, I'm pretty sure that James Roe put
the trade on the community site at 3772 on Friday. Please look back
to his post. This actually improves performance a little so worth
putting the correct number there. Not sure where 3764 came
from?
blame Tradestation - they show Friday's closing bar at 3764,
maybe it was showing 3772 on Friday when James posted the image. I
checked Trading View and it shows 3772 so I am using that. What
really matters is where one filled - my hope is not many people too
that Friday one as I commented that I thought one could get better
prices on Sunday

That´s right. On Friday the MES take a firstnshort trade on QE
BTS. I think today it would be a second trade on that sub-system.
Please Matt, can you put it OK on ES trades ?? This
will be more easy when it comes the new community chat of systems !
We are waiting them. Thanks.
