Yes. but the simpler solution is to recycle nuclear waste
instead of stupidly storing it in a mountain for 100 years. The
French have been recycling it for years. I'm no expert but the
Stage 4 nuclear reactors being developed today have an actual

Russian developed a stealth submarine...all when in real life their
missiles couldn't even get out of their silos as the economy
collapsed? Or how about Oliver Stones' ridiculous JFK. My
girlfriend at the time turn to me and said." I didn't know that
happened!" "That's because it didn't," I said.
The "Chernobyl" TV Serie ... a huge hit and top production
... but littered with false information and reinforced the
anti-nuclear narrative ... Add the "Meltdown - Three mile
island" serie on Netflix ... not denying there was problems there
and gross negligence, but the goal of this serie was mostly to
scare people off Nuke and not document what happened IMHO ...

Many of the modern designs for reactors are not manned by humans
(in particular, the one backed by the Gates Foundation). There
hasn't been an accident that couldn't have been prevented by proper
execution of the emergency / safety plan. Humans are the weak link
so it will be good to see them removed from the nuclear power
equation.
100 years - again the waste is radioactive for 100,000 years.
Thorium 250 - 500 years, so we are talking about 400 fold
difference. Again there's hardly been any research done on Thorium
based reactors because the focus was on getting enriched PU from
reactors for bombs - now that's gone more or less
Hollywood - no one should listen to any political statements
from them. enough said
It happens over and over. That's how oil pushed out most other
sources of energy when the Rockefellers got control. That's
how hemp was removed from the market. I don't mean the drugs but
other uses. "And the beat goes on."
