yeah...Steve and I were just chatting about it.
Tradestation was locked up for Steve this afternoon as well,
his comments "TS was locked up tighter than a bulls ass during fly
season most of the afternoon" Tradestation locks up on days
when you have a ton of volume, a lot of tick data etc
Think about the lunacy of this: They built a platform that locks
up on days where you might need it the most, such as capitulation
days, or high volume churn days - it's useless. Those are days
where you have big moves and a lot of volatility and potential to
have big trades on - nope you better not use TS to monitor those
trades
oh but don't worry, 2 years from now when the SPX is at 1500 and
the general public hates the market and there's no volume - it will
be rock stable solid
anyway no changes on the bear long for the SPY and ES -both
continue to hold. I think an exit was being met at the highs but I
was too busy trying to get it unstuck to alert anyone of
that

I don't know. I was using Tradestation heavy in the 2004-2006
time frame when SPX was about 1200 and it froze up all the time
then too, LOL. Have used Fidelity and TOS pretty much since.
Hard to beat the charting in TOS and I can use to trade futures and
forex, though their commissions a little higher, they will
negoatiate if you're active. . Fidelity has best executions,
especially on options and large stock trades.
yeah...Steve and I were just
SPY system open trade comments
