Agree, definite preference for me is the 'New Player' where a
person can click through charts with audio. I don't usually
have time to listen/watch through the whole series of charts and
this is a very simple and easy way to quickly navigate where you
want to go.
One thing that we hear occasionally is that "I don't have time"
- that's hogwash. If you want to be a successful investor you
must MAKE TIME. It's that simple - those who put in the work
have a much higher propensity to succeed than those who refuse to
put in the time and effort. Matt and I take a few hours to
put together a newsletter which can be viewed in 20 minutes (or
less if you simply want to peruse the charts). However, one
must take some time to put a PLAN into place in accordance with
your approach. You won't find one successful trader tell your
otherwise. There will be some emergencies at times that take
precedence (understandable) but one must devote time and effort to
truly become efficient. As you refine your style and become
more proficient you can typically reduce the amount of time needed
to organize your plan of action. Personally, when I don't put
in the time I find myself less prepared for battle - a good analogy
would be a sports team - how well you practice goes a long way to
how you perform on game day.
Do you have the desire/want to succeed or not? I dare you
to point out to me any successful trader who doesn't put in the
necessary time - they don't exist period.
Remember my comments from the audio, I would like to start
placing one of these newsletters on
Youtubemaybe once a week and this is the easiest way to do that.
BPT NEEDS a prescense on Youtube for marketing, it's a shame we
don't have that in this day and age. What I don't want to do
is on the day I decide to share the video on Youtube, have to
record a whole newsletter video and do a completely separate
recording for the original newsletter format, that is over twice
the work and time required I need something that is not so much
work I can actually keep up on. Posting to things like Twitter and
Youtube is all about consistency, you can't just stop doing it for
long periods of time, you need to keep up on it. I need a way that
is not too much work and having to make two separte newsletter
recordings is too much work and something I know I would burn out
on and not keep up with. I discussed that at the begging on the
video
again on days I do a video you still get access to all the
static charts and
Stockcharts.comlive URL's to those,
charts, the trade ideas list. obviously you use the audio per
individual chart, but again it's not that hard to just pull the
video time to find the charts you want to actually hear me talk
about that

I like the "New Player" as well. Makes it so simple to bounce around
yes but also the live

yes but also the live charts are added and the trade ideas are still added to a nice condensed clean table in the Trade Ideas section
