Matt/Steve or others. TSLA - Would love some thoughts on options
trades around earnings. I've been avoiding most earnings trades
because of the craziness of the markets which often seem to move
completely uncorrelated with results lately. I'm hesitant to just
go long TSLA Calls (even though I am very bullish) so thinking a
straddle/strangle to manage risk. Love any insight or ideas people
have. Thx
as far as complex option strategies many of you guys would be
better at that than I would. I know some of you had TOS accounts
etc. I'm no options expert. I know how to buy and sell
options, do some covered calls, sell puts. But I have not done many
of the complex strategies like straddles, strangles, bull and bear
spreads. So some of you more advanced guys can look into
those

For a stock like tesla, I would keep it simple - buy calls and be done with it.
