here's how the systems have been handling this market:
- SPY system of course has been long since Setp 12th catching
this uptrend, it did scale out of some of its position but
otherwise is still long with a stop that continues to trail up
- ES system went long on Sept 11th via the breakout trade but
closed out, while the SPY breakout continued to hold. The system
went short last Friday and covered Monday for nice quick trade,
then went back long on Wed
on the ES system I could see it closing out possibly on
Tuesday.
non-system wise the pullback this week into Wed was a micro wave
4 and we are now in the micro wave 5 to new highs. Once this
micro wave 5 ends then we'll have a larger degree wave 4
pullback. The SPX is close to the next pivot and the 2600
area so that's be a logical place to end the wave 5, we'll see next
week. I guess I bring up that up because I don't mind the ES
system getting out early next week of the new long. And on the SPY
system the hard stop should raise again so it will be
protected

One thought would be to tweak those ES short settings (like I
know you did with the ES TT) so they stay in the trade longer to
capture more of the move. (I have my own way of doing it.) But
really nice work!
also I'm hopefully going to complete the XIV SPY system stuff
later tonight. It's tedious work. There's additional
rules - you don't simply buy and short XIV, at times you buy UPRO
in place because XIV is not always best to buy in every
instance
Matt - as someone who trades XIV based on the SPY Pro signals, I
look forward to hearing the results of your findings and research
. All I can say is thank you so much for all your hard work
and continued effort with the systems and for sharing them
with us - you are a legend ! :o)
Matt as always excellent work. Thanks to you and Steve for all
the great work, effort, and time you guys
put for us members. Thanks for your great insights and
services. Your systems are the best. Can wait for XIV
system.....regardd
