Hello everyone, regarding last night's newsletter, I had quite a
few support questions about the audio:
First off the audio for the '
New Player' didn't port over right and thus you cannot use the New
Player, you have to use the '
Original Player' and it should work fine.
However should the Original Player not work for you, please
update your Java and reboot your computer, here's a URL
Also, you can always just download the MP3 file directly - do that,
right click over the MP3 file and save to your computer - that way
you bypass the Java - your computer can play MP3 - see the attached
graphic

I didn't want to install chrome, so I just followed your
suggestion and clicked on "Link to mp3". The sound came on in my
mp3 default player which at the moment happens to be RealPlayer. No
problem at all. One extra click. Never thought twice about it.

This has nothing to do with a Java Update, what actually
happened was that Jquery updated today to version 1.9 which
depreciated some commands that our mp3 player, jplayer uses to
interact with older browsers, read IE and firefox.
I have found an updated version of our player that fixes this
audio problem.
If any of you are still experiencing issues please feel free
to contact me at support@breakpointtrades.com
A number of members had problems with the audio portion of last
nights newsletter. Java did a major update sometime
yesterday. To fix the problem you must go to the BPT Home
page. Click on Logout. Next log back in. Simple
as that. BPT website won't update the JAVA change until you
log back in to the Website. Enjoy the sound!

I occasionally listen to the newsletter from my
Android phone, the original player audio does not work in this
instance (for me) but the new player audio does work. The mp3
player link within the audio controls box has always
worked from computer or phone.
FWII Don't forget, Java was having all sorts of problems last
Friday, so maybe there are still some issues. The Apple "genius"
helped me to remove the new update and go back to a previous
version. That one is working just fine for me, but I'm on a
Mac.
