There are many programs which find chart patterns. He even gives
one away free. Patternz from his website. You can find many
websites which offer this too.
It worked fine on my XP system, you might try running it in
'compatibility mode'. Right click on the icon, choose properties,
then Compatibility Tab. You may need to experiment, but try the
most basic first. You'll need your own data to run it (Yahoo CSV
files or export them from TC2007, my favorite.). It's a Visual
basic program, not complex wrt programming so should work without
too much effort.
