I don't understand your post, the SPY system is currently short.

    By the way, for any

By the way, for any nervous nellies with the SPY system, and we've had a lot of them, if you close out your trade right now, you would be up +2.1% from the system launch on April 29th!

now this is only for the single entry system, the multi would still be down

    (-0.68) + 2.04 - 1.66 + 3.99 - 8.38 + 2.89 + 3.95 (current trade still open) = 2.15%

otherwise we'll see how this trade works out....

    At the lows this morning

At the lows this morning the SPY short trade was up 7.2%, getting closer to that one big losing trade we had.

of course the trade is not over, it will either close out better or worse than this.

Also note, this trade has a 13.5% profit target , so if that number is hit, the trade will close out.

Currently the 13.5% profit target for this trade would be a price of $105.04.This can occur intra day, NOT just at the close of the day, but any time.  Therefore you can just set a GTC order for that price

    Figuring in the current single

Figuring in the current single entry trade, which is still open of course, my P/L turned positive today.  This compared to SPY ETF down 14.6% since 5 May, when I began using the system.  So, ok.

how has it done for 2011? thanks

I am not sure I understand your question.  The SPY System is short and has been since 9/15 (see above).  We also caught a short trade from 8/29-9/2.
