Maybe after a rest. Energizer had decent earnings and
guidance was not bad a well ($7 for 2013 on the high end).
The upper range for ENR might only be $90ish but this definitely
could be a name to consider
on dips.
never really liked the stock all that much although I love the
business idea, Zip Car, up today on a big earnings beat after the
close yesterday. This stock is down from all time high of
$31.50 and the fibs off the recent divergent low seem to match many
previous key levels. Could it be on its way to $12?
There will definitely be many fits and start between now and
then but definitely one for the watch list (speculative).
I have been helping a member and the link below resolved his
issue but the article is a good reminder for anyone having browsing
issues.
See the images below and this is how the Stockcharts.com charts
were showing up in ALL browsers (big clue). Knowing its not
browser specific and seeing other people are not complaining of the
same issue makes you realize it is likely local. Stockcharts
will posts bulletins and makes people aware of certain conditions
as they find them. I often don't read all of their support
documentation but this issue was resolved and they had provided
some feedback.
In this case the issue is with the antivirus software Kaspersky
but this can happen with any software meant to block pop-ups, spam
or antivirus and the steps will be very similar in that there is
likely a setting to enable a website as "safe". Might be
worth a read to familiarize yourself with what options you have
with these types of software, how they can affect your browsing
experience and potential courses of action you can take to diagnose
the issue.
The BPGDM Closed yesterday above the 5 day MA which
initiated a new long trade and closing of the current short at the
price of $51.41. The GDX is currently quotes slightly lower
than that price so you should be able to enter at, around or better
than the trigger price today if you didn't see the signal
yesterday. We will be updating the section to reflect the
trade this morning. Thank you.
Here's a
dynamic chart URLif you wish to see an update version this evening.
I'm neither morton or Steve but I personally wouldn't be looking
at it long. Maybe if you have a feel for the stock or like it
fundamentally etc. but I would gladly pay higher to have a better
technical set-up and very well might get it at lower prices.
The SPY Swing System will execute a new Long position today at
the close if the SPY closes below $139.09 and above $138.59.
This Long
trade will represent 100% position for the Single en
try
systemand 40% for those following the Multi En
try. As always please
trade as you see fit. We will send another
alertONLY if the
trigger price changes. Otherwise you should
consider this
alertthe official
alert. As always we will also be answering
questions and making comments on the SPY section of the Trading
Community.
Thank you, So we have the major Euro news out of the way for the
week it seems as well as the US baring the unexpected.
We have Nat Gas numbers at 10:30 am EST and a 30 year bond
auction around 1pm EST. Otherwise Consumer Sentiment tomorrow
and that's really it. Something I missed?
I believe the Greek vote can take place anytime between now and
tonight EST. I see it slated as early as 2pm EST but I also
remember it not happening until much later than these slated times
and again IDK if that's due to protocols or time for discussion
etc.
Its possible. I want to get a better range and need some
additional trading to have a price level I can lock in. I
will be reviewing the numbers around noon -1pm EST and if there is
an alert then I will advise officially via the regular
channels.
AAPL definitely has some work to do and seems like it is in
"show me" mode where new capital is waiting for a catalyst they
just don't have. No new products and no earnings until Late
January. If AAPL and tech can start to lead again it may not
be something we see until very late this year or early next.
FSLR came up on a scan of mine a while back and I think it was
due for a bounce but I am not a big solar fan. Solar
ultimately needs demand and I want to see them show they can have
consistent sales and have it bleed through to the bottom line.
If I were taking a shot long here or on the breakout, I would
be using the major MA's as support.

Looks like it has been respecting the 100Day which comes in $140.60 so a nice break and hold of that should continue your pattern nicely!

Good Morning Traders,
Very lack luster. Almost looks like the futures chart posted in Matt's Newsletter last night.
The Bank of England held rates steady as expected and I didn't see if they released but the ECB is expected to not make any changes as well.
