I would prefer that posts on the Spy System board be limited to
information about the Spy System. Other chat is distracting,
and posts about other trading would seem more appropriate to the
community board. Hoping to keep this as simple as
possible.
I am all for not posting about anything not related to the SPY
system -- just like not posting anything not related to trading on
the general blog..........but I understand why randy posted about
MDY -- people have been exploring ways to use the system signals,
etc. Not like he posted a political
opinion or something. Lighten up.
I agree as well Michael. I think it's helpful to hear other
member's experience trading the system. I had also been thinking
about trading IWM or MDY on a signal with part of my trading
capital.
I have been using the system as a way to gradually get invested
in some longer term 401k type investments as well and one of those
is a small cap index. I noticed that the smallcap index did quite
well on this last signal.
I'm sure Matt wouldn't mind as long as we all know that his
results and research is based on trading SPY.
I agree. While I don't need to know every entry/exit of every
trade, I would like to know what folks are trading with the system.
What stocks/options/futures are you trading and what are the
results? Are you doing something that is adding to (or detracting
from) the overall results?
The shared learning experience of the community really helps me
improve my trading and results.
tumbler - I hope to be contributing more in the near future, but
thanks once again for the work you've done. Your most recent
spreadsheet is a big help....
doug -- doesn't seem to me that Randy's post is out of line if
we're going to talk about trading SSO, options etc. What if Matt
ran the whole backtest with the Russell 2000 and it outperformed?
Relax a bit -- it's a holiday

Randy,
I'm not sure why anyone cares what you are doing outside the SPY system, which is the subject of this blog.
I would prefer that posts
