my SPY swing system went short at the close, it holds.
It's not a perfect system, but it's it right a lot of times,
no losing years going
back to 1993, here's some stats.
Anyway just letting you know. It only gives me the trade
at the close, so I guess I'll do some SDS in my IRA. System of
course does bad trades, like any system, so this will either be a
loser or a winner, I'll post again when it covers, which will be on
a closing basis. Again do this at your own risk, no guarantee
that it won't be a loser, the system had bad trades from time to
time. The market is still quite strong and taken out some
resistance levels and could follow through to the upside, so treat
this accordingly.
otherwise for my trading account, I don't do this system, I
trade the stocks like you've seen today (many of which did well
like NCYT, NZ, AVP, ARBA, TAP, NENG, AKS, YRCW etc ), and the
systems etc
This new system is fantastic. Thanks. You guys
rock.
I wonder if there are analytically minded folks in this
community that would enjoy contributing to the heuristics that
create/improve mechanical systems like this? I
would. Lets face it. The
bulk of the trading these days is being done by
computers. You have proven that it is possible to
win at the game. We can beat these guys.
no they are worse if enter the next day, after hrs trading is
open until almost 8 pm EST
again do what you will with it, if market continues breaking
out, then will be a losing trade, it's a system, has winning trades
and losing trades; so you have to be prepared for that or don't
follow it and trade other things.

Thanks Matt It is good to have signals for my
retirement accounts as well as my tradeing portfolio . I
would like to see you set up a section for those trades like you
have with the GDX swing system . I have been useing the
GDX signals for a portion of my retirement money . This S&P
signal is great . I would appreciate a place on the site
where I could check the signal daily. Thanks and
have a great weekend .

Matt, from the sound of it, ur very skeptical of the system shorting the S&P at this point.
with systems like that that

with systems like that that trade at the close, fairly often you can get a price as good as or better than the close in after hours.
