The system looks fantastic and just what us worker bees(people who work a day job) need to stay interested in the game. I look forward to your introducing this in the next few weeks. Will this only be written for Multicharts or will it be available on the Ninja Trader platform?

    Thanks!

    Really exciting, Matt.

You say that this material will be in a separate section.  Will it be available to subscribers as part of their subscription?  Will the email alerts also be part of the subscription?

Thanks Matt for the continued good work.  This site is wonderful.

    thanks for the feedback, it's

thanks for the feedback, it's as close to the 'grail' as I have seen so far.  I can plug in pretty much any stock or index and it works, no optimization

All trades are executed at the close of the day and generally held for 4 - 7 days, so it's truly an EOD system, and with like 90% winning trades or higher.  However generally you only get about 2 - 3trades a month (but these are generally held ofr 4 - 7 days).  However many of the trades are 'scaled into', trades can either have 1, 2, or 3 scale-ins.  For example some trades will be one trade, i.e. one entry and one exit.  However some trades would have 2 or 3 scale-ins over a 2 - 3 day period, then you would sell it all a the same time maybe 4 - 7 days later on the close, NOT intra day.  None of the trades are entered intra day, they are all based on the closing price.  Also for scale in entries, it would work as follows:  you buy 20% of your intended position on the first signal, then 40% on the second entry, and 40% on the 3rd.  So you have to decide your total dollar amount that you would allocate to each system and use a percentage for each trade, but we'll have more details on this.  The alerts we would send out would say, buy a 20% position of SSO at the close etc.

how it will work is there will be a separte subscription; we would email the trades at 15 min before the market closes, then you would enter the trade on the close.  We also have an SMS text messaging service where we could send a signal to your cell phone to alert you incase you were not at the computer

    Just to get this clear:

Just to get this clear:  does "on the close" mean that the trade is entered after the market closes and actually takes place when the market opens the following day?

    all the stats are on

Posted by matt on 9th of Mar 2010 at 11:30 pm

all the stats are on the market close, NOT the next day, so you would want to enter the trade as close to the close as possible.  You will get a notification 15 min before the market closes, so that's plenty of time.  Or you enter the closing price or better, so if you can get the closing price the next day, well you can do that.  But all the stats are built with EOD entries.

Again more details will be forthcoming with charts, example trades, etc and how it will all work with notification.

    Sounds good. But I really

Sounds good. But I really would like to see the 401K manager you talked about on the blog 3/4/10. I think everyone has A 401K and most members would use bennifit
