Can we keep politics off of BPT?  So many other sites weakened and ruin by this nonsense.  Let's stay focused on trading.

Not sure how significant this is, but noticed that Gold is bouncing off the 38.2% fib retracement from the Aug highs while GDX and GDXJ are bouncing off the 50% fib.

Yeah, I shorted that on the break below; bounced back up to the breakout level, but I think that gap is calling.  We'll see....

Had something similar happen several years ago with an upstairs laundry tub.  Came pouring our of kitchen can lights, lots of drywall damage.  Good news was that our insurance company actually 'paid' us for our immediate response efforts which counted towards our deductible.  The hours of mopping up water, pulling back carpets, etc until the professionals could arrive were assigned a $$ value and reduced our deductible down to a few hundred bucks.  Insurance covered everything else.

FYI that UUUU earnings is next week (24th).  Heckuva run over the past 6 days.

KOSS is the big meme winner so far today; up as much as 125%, but back down to only 115% currently.  LOL!

Anyone have insight into why WTI is so strong?  Up 25% currently.  I have this but wasn't expecting this strong of a move relative to the other oil stocks.  They had good earnings earlier in the week, but can find no other news.  

It's not very clear on chart 7, but the DVT is the same as chart5; it's just that the 3795 value is partially blocked by the 3790text.

WATT up 90%+ and still climbing.  Took some profits around 70% - too soon apparently.  Ha!  Steve has mentioned this one a few times over the past month or so.  Popping on news of potential project with AAPL.  Typically these news pops sell off, but nothing is typical these days.  People may just keep piling in....

Silver miners doing well today even though silver is down 1%.  Miners typically lead, right?   Let's see if we get some follow through....

For the Americans, 1/20/2021 was the date where forward/backward were the same.  Unless you use mm/dd/yyyy in which case the extra 0 up front ruined it.  ;-)

I've been there, know the feeling well.  I agree - bad emotion that can lead to chasing, and that usually doesn't end well.  And even if it does, that's probably even worse as it reinforces a bad behavior.  When I'm feeling that way, I either look for stocks in that sector that haven't popped yet, or move on entirely to something else.  If I stare at it, my frustration grows.  I just tell myself, I'll never get wiped out by a purchase that I didn't make....

Appears that the announcement about the suit is recent (couple of days ago), but a report about potnetially fraudulent behavior by BTBT was published Jan 11th.

VCYT from the watchlist awhile back.  Bought in around $50 and added when it came down to bottom of channel.  Good fundamentals too... mfg diagnostic tests for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis which will be a long-hauler issue for COVID.  Taking off half here as it's extended, but will give it some room and add on pullback.
