hey Matt- which (if any) of the SPY subsystems are currently triggering? I know ES is already  long.

No SPY exhaustion short trade anytime soon ? 22+ days above the 8ma and an overbought %R.  Seems like it should be close to a short signal.

Not to knock a system that is clearly working very well, but I’d imagine it works better when markets are trending strongly like they are now. We haven’t experienced a sideways chop recently. Good systems get through the tough markets as I’m sure this will, but I mention it because I’ve noticed that some of my own trend-following systems that I’ve programmed on Tradestation have worked great the last few years but haven’t faired as well in the past, whereas mean-reversion systems like Matt’s SPY system significantly outperformed. Not sure if you have backtest results for KISS via TS (other than the manual stuff)— I imagine that its more difficult to come up with.

I think it's also indicative of the moves that we've been having.  Implied volatility is now around 22% and we've been moving at around 26%.

I have accounts on three platforms and they all have their pros and cons.  IB has great rates (esp for futures and options on futures) and easy execution of spreads and complex orders (once you get to know the platform) but mobile app is terrible as is their charting and risk analysis.  TOS is pretty user friendly, love their mobile app and charts, but futures commissions are high and every time its really busy they just happen to go down (like clockwork).  Tradestation is fantastic for programming and charts and is what matt uses for the systems but their trade execution and mobile app are horrendous.  Pus, you cant trade futures options and stock options in the same account and platform.  Hope this helps.
