Thx. It's a volume by price chart, similar to a market profile chart. Easy to see support and resistance near the thinnest volume points.

VIX BB signals....

Good perspective Marketguy. I see many times it's a mediocre signal and other times marks a turning point. Other VIX systems work better when the market's not being manipulated by the Fed. Thanks for posting this work.

Good question. this weekend will bring to bare:

A. US Debt Ceiling

B. Greek Parliment and Debt

C. EU Debt and Bonds

D. Euro currency

Too many dependancies on elected officials and not on directly interested parties.

LOL Patience ?  I'm gonna riot

we could pay off Greek Debt

Another reiteration of the regulators wanting to require that the banks hold 3.5% of capital. This scares the banks and financails because they depend on the 10: and 100: 1 leverage to make money the Fed lets them print. Since banks make money by loaning it out. It means they'll make less money. Of course, since they're not LENDING it they'll not make money anyway.

Business Insider reports on a rumor that Steve Ballmer might resign at Microsoft (MSFT).

Finally, we'll see some movement in MrSoftie

and once that was broken it headed to S3, so far just a point away. (on ES that is)

$SPX.X is getting near the 200dMA at 1256 so far

That's Curious: Tight BBands and then an Iron Condor (= siamese condor?). interesting. Using %B ?

The trade I'm in is a simple stock substitution swing trade, triggered when yesterday's downtrend line was broken and the bottom held near the close. RSI(3) was below 10 too.

Zach06, I'm in with a bunch of options today, holding for a further move. I see RSI(3) on Daily has a ways to go sitting at 56 right now, looking for 70 to 85. Seems you got a good move there though, congrats!

QQQ poised to pop? I'm

Posted by klatuu on 14th of Jun 2011 at 01:18 pm

QQQ poised to pop? I'm looking at the Q's and I think it's poised to take off. I see a bullish flag at the bottom of a range that goes to 55.75 on the 30min chart. Am I imagining it?

There's also the Apr 14th Low of 129.50 acting as resistance
